Thank Congress for Investing in a cure!

Congressional leaders approved an increase in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) by more than $2 billion – with a large portion going towards finding a cure for macular degeneration. Thank them!

Dear Speaker Ryan, Representative Pelosi, Senator McConnell, and Senator Schumer,

Thank you for supporting an increase in funding to the National Institutes of Health. Without major federal funding, cures for diseases like macular degeneration might never be found. We need to make sure the newest generation of scientists has the tools necessary to find a cure.

Please continue to make medical research a priority in all budgets going forward.
